Ganderbal’s Ramawari village suffers in absence of paved road

Ganderbal, Dec 16 (KNO): Residents of Ramwari in Gund village of Ganderbal are up in arms against the dilapidated condition of the PMGSY Sumbal-Bala Check road. The residents alleged that they are totally dependent on this road for daily commute and suffer a lot due to its bad condition. They said that the construction work was left midway by the PMGSY which remained incomplete as the department is not paying any attention towards it. They also said that two years have passed but no concrete effort has been made by the authorities to solve the problem. Ramwari village with a population of around 300 people has to suffer particularly during winters. The road has developed ditches and pot holes at several places due to the commuters as well as transporters are facing trouble,this problem manifolds during rainy season, thus making roads accident prone,said a local Shakeel Ahmad told Kashmir News Observer-KNO. They said that they approached several times for higher ups so far to no avail.
